DIRECT_OEM means the wheel was specified by the factory for the chassis in question. No spacers, no fender work, no surprises.
OEM_PLUS is the common ground most enthusiasts live in: a wheel with periodcorrect spec that bolts on clean, sometimes with a conservative spacer to dial the face out.
REQUIRES_SPACERS and MODIFICATION are disclosures, not warnings. They tell you the set will fit with specific hardware, or with a minor fender roll. Either way, we publish the detail before you pay.
